| Description. The device № 5 contains two tanks, connected with each other by a slot-hole channel (tray). The models of a spillway with a thin wall and a spillway with a wide threshold are set in it. When the device turned upside down the liquid from the top tank overflows in the lower part of a tray where the liquid outflow over a spillway with a wide threshold is observed and the coefficient of discharge is determined. In another position of the device the experiments on a spillway with a thin wall are made in the same tray. |
